Because this is an international community, you may only speak english. You may only have one website account. Any kind of racism, prejudice, sexism or any other kind of hatred will get you warning. Spam or any other pointless crap. Posts like "2/20 Demos uploaded", "xAxA I'R cool" or "xxx viewing yyy.php" will get yourself a warning. Any words such as 'Nigger', 'Nigga', 'Jew', 'Gypsy' etc., used specifically to offend someone are NOT tolerated! This particular content is NOT tolerated: Massive advertisement, multiplayer cheats or scripts (aimbots, wallhacks, bhopscripts etc), Warez (Mp3, NON-Steam, Porn) and other material that can be found offensive. Stay on topic. Read the forum descriptions to find the right forum for your question(s) and posts. Avoid making doubleposts or creating a second thread on a topic that is already discussed in another thread. Warnings and bans are handed out at admins discretion ("Admins are always right").
IRC-channel rules:
You may only speak english. Speaking another language will get you banned from the IRC channel for 30 minutes. If you have a question, type it in our main channel. -> Be sure your question(s) isn't in the FAQ before asking. -> If no one answers you can try to contact an admin. -> Check the admins page to see who's the right admin to talk to. Advertise for other IRC channels will get you banned from the irc channel. Do not post multiplayer cheats or scripts. do not highlight operators.
Demo Submiting Rules:
Do not submitting a demo with miliseconds its NOT allowed anymore. -> mapname_author_mmss.dem -> mm = minutes -> ss = seconds -> Example: zyllEE beats the map smk_hnseu_stoneblock in 59 seconds. -> He should name his demo smk_hnseu_stoneblock_zyllEE_0059.dem -> He will then archive his demo into smk_hnseu_stoneblock_zyllEE_0059.rar Do NOT submit a demo on an official map(s) it will result in a warning. Submitting demos on non-official maps are allowed ONLY. Average fps must be at least 90 fps. Please check the demo using fps-Death.
Map Submiting Rules:
Cypress-Climbing do NOT accept official maps from Xtreme-Jumps or maps with kz_ tag please rename it to notkz / nonkz before submitting your map. Submitting official maps from Xtreme-Jumps or maps with kz_ tag will get you permanetly banned. Do NOT submit maps without Kreedz Timer(start & stop) You can download it from XJ. Do NOT submit maps which are without jumps, this means no more run-maps like go_fastrun. The new maps must be submitted with the name not/nonkz_mapname. Do NOT make the maps to dark. Some players have low brightness and some servers doesn't allow flashlights. Submitted maps with leaks - How to search and fix leaks. Pack the rar file in a way that you have to extract it to the counter-strike/cstrike/ directory. Avoid drastic difficulty level changes. Make sure there are no jumps floating in the air, because that's very unrealistic unless it fits with the theme in any way. Compile your map using the -nowadtextures option in CSG compiler so that wad files are included in the bsp and there is no seperate wad files to download. Feel free to add any maps that you find enjoyable, as long as the above guideline is followed. Do NOT submit your map on Xtreme-Jumps and here. -> Only if Xtreme-Jumps deny the map or the mapper didint submit his map there, then u can submit it here. Once submitted, admins will then check the maps and make a final vote to accept or deny them.
Weird Jump Rules:
Your jump should be atleast 260 or more to get on the list. Name your demo(s), and pack them with WinRAR, like this: 270_wj_nickname(.rar) You have to upload your own demo(s). Otherwise you and your friends user account will be held responsible if we will find any cheats. Only Demos which have been recorded on your LAN Server will be accepted. Check your demos with fps-Death and make sure your settings are correct. Its your responsibility to do the primary analyze of your demo! Only demos which have been recorded on cypress_weirdjumps will be accepted!
Demo Rules:
Demo must be complete. Which means you have to start the demo before pressing the startbutton and end the demo after you have pressed the stopbutton (and killed yourself). Knife & USP are the only weapons allowed. Demo must be compressed with WinRAR and named likee "mapname_author_time.rar", for example "kz_man_bighardclimb_Ad9r_1337.rar" The name of the demo file (inside the rar file) has to be like this: "mapname_author_time.dem", for example "kz_man_bighardclimb_Ad9r_1337.dem" Average fps must be at least 90 fps. Kill yourself at the end of the demo. At the time you kill yourself, you must have a nickname which is the same as the nick you submit the demo with. The demo must be recorded in-eye. You may not use methods to gain a higher fps rate before you have pushed the start button, and after you have pushed the end button. Using Godmode is forbidden. You may not change key bindings after you have pressed the start timer. Your demo must be recorded on your LAN server. Cheats/hacks/scripts are strictly forbidden! Any cheating will give you a warning or ban. NON-Steam demos are allowed.
You are not allowed to use any cvar or setting (like changing the default value on cl_sidespeed) that might give you an advantage against other players using the default CS settings. Keep it default!
